1. Information We Collect

RocketCat is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data necessary to operate the Service:

  • URLs submitted: Temporarily processed to extract media information. URLs are not stored permanently on our servers.
  • IP addresses: Used solely for rate limiting purposes. IP data is stored in memory and cleared periodically.
  • Download history: Stored locally in your browser (localStorage) only. We do not have access to your download history.
  • Usage analytics: If enabled, we may use third-party analytics services to understand general usage patterns.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
  • Account credentials or login information
  • Payment or financial information
  • Downloaded media content (files are streamed, not stored)

3. How We Use Your Information

The limited information we collect is used exclusively to:

  • Process your download requests
  • Enforce rate limiting to prevent abuse
  • Maintain and improve the Service
  • Ensure security and prevent malicious use

4. Data Storage

RocketCat does not use a database. All processing is done in real-time:

  • Rate limiting data is stored in server memory and reset periodically.
  • Temporary download files are automatically deleted after streaming to the user.
  • User preferences and history are stored in your browser's localStorage.

5. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with the following third-party services:

  • Google AdSense: If ads are enabled, Google may collect data according to their own privacy policy.
  • Social media platforms: When you submit a URL, we make requests to the respective platform to retrieve media information.

6. Cookies

RocketCat itself does not set cookies. However, third-party services (such as Google AdSense) may set cookies. Please refer to our Cookie Policy for more details.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction of data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

Since we collect minimal data, most data protection rights are inherently satisfied. You can:

  • Clear your local download history at any time from the History page.
  • Use the Service without providing any personal information.
  • Block third-party cookies through your browser settings.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
